Queries Entered in Search Tools
When you type a name, location, or other term into a search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Washington County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s handling of the query is governed by its own policies and terms.
Messages Sent to Us
If you email us or submit a contact message, we keep the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share the message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law, a valid legal process, or a binding government order.
Information Collected During Visits
Routine server, analytics, and site systems may collect technical details when a page loads. This data helps us understand site operation and does not come from Washington County jail or court records. The details can include:
- The internet protocol address used for the request
- Browser name and software version

- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
